Join us as we take you on a musical journey through the classic pop tunes of the 50’s and 60’s. We create a playful and groovy atmosphere, perfect for all music lovers, movers and shakers.
We plays tunes from the Temptations, Beatles, Carole King, the Mama and Papas, the Turtles, Smokey Robinson, Sam Cook, Dionne Warwick, Peggy Lee, and Tom Jones. .
The Players
The Lizzielu band is a collective of excellent musicians anchored by vocalist Liz Keever and guitarist, Robert Marquis. Playing with a rotating roster of drummers and bassists, the band is a collaboration of Seattle’s finest talent. You might hear bassists Lamar Lofton or Michael Olivola or drummers Chris Monroe or Doug Kleiber and other recognized names. The fluid lineup ensures fresh live performances that are never the same, while always supporting the energy and signature groove of vintage pop.

Vocalist
Liz (Lizzielu) Keever
Liz is a lifelong fan of pop music. With a theatrical and cabaret background, she’s a lyric-lover. Liz was described by The Oregonian as “vivacious” with a “versatile and powerful voice.” She’s created, produced and performed her one-woman musical shows on both coasts, performed with symphonies, played leading roles in musicals as well as singing in a cruise-ship quartet for two years. A musical wanderer, Liz is a trained musician and a joyful interpreter of pop music.

Guitarist
Robert Marquis
Robert performs a varied combination of traditional, contemporary jazz, and rock music that has roots in the blues. Robert’s compositions and arrangements vary in style and texture by using musical elements from all the different cities in which he’s lived. In his previous career, Robert performed for 20 years as a member of the U.S. Navy Contemporary Music Ensemble and as a guitar instructor for the Navy and Marine Corps. Originally from Miami, he’s lived in New Orleans, Seattle, Virginia Beach, and San Diego and has traveled and performed extensively across the U.S.
